I’m Pernille Norregaard
I began writing when I was 8 years old, and I knew that someday I would be a published author. My dream came true in 2006.
In the meantime, I’d gotten degrees in anthropology and journalism, made children’s books for Disney, and written articles for a wide variety of magazines. (Plus about a million other things I won’t bore you with here.)
Since 2006 I have written and ghosted 12 books in my native Danish as well as a handful of books and screenplays in English.
Soon other writers began asking me how I could be so productive. They struggled with fear and self-doubt – wondering if they were good enough or if they would ever get published. I recognised these insecurities from myself and almost all the professional writers, I know.
Based on my master’s degree in cultural anthropology, my vast knowledge of psychology and being a professed self-development junkie I began to explore how I could help them. The results were amazing. After just a few adjustments to their writing practice clients who hadn’t written in ages were writing again.
I soon realised that the key to writing success was creating a sustainable writing practice. No matter whether you’re a blogger, author, poet, novelist, journalist, columnist, playwright, screenwriter, or … you get the idea.
